New Life and New Spaces
In a complete overhaul of the basement in this 1927 home. Two baths were added; one full bath and one with a full walk-in shower. A large family room and living room create wonderful gathering places. The two bedrooms are secluded and their doors are at opposite ends of the basement. And not to forget the eat in kitchen with all the modern convinces. This remodel greatly increased the amount of useable space in this home.
This full footprint basement started as a blank slate. We doubled the living space of this home while taking great care to achieve a consistent look with the existing styles.
The use of structural steel allowed us to create a warm, open gathering space for the whole family. Meticulous air-sealing, thorough insulation, low VOC paints and a condensing hybrid water heater make this an efficient and comfortable living space.
Airy basement expansion
Relax in front of the fireplace and lay your head down in one of the cozy, airy bedrooms in this Greenwood basement expansion. Engineered hardwood floors, a tasteful full bath, and a large family room plus two bedrooms and a laundry room gave this family comfortable and inviting extra space.
