The Woodcrafters Team

Owner

Travis Spikes

Owner

The son of a homebuilder, Travis gained experience in virtually every trade while growing up. After earning a degree in environmental science he worked as an environmental consultant for 8 years. Although working in an office/field environment gave Travis valuable technical, project management, social, and marketing skills, the draw to work with his hands eventually won out and he founded Woodcrafters in 2005.

Travis' background provides him a broad and unique foundation in project management, technical know-how, and building science. Travis is married with two rambunctious boys and enjoys taking them on skiing and camping adventures as often as possible.

Vice President

Kelley Spikes

Vice President

Kelley Spikes grew up in Oregon in the Willamette Valley and moved to Seattle in 1998. She graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Environmental Science. While Kelley was in school, she also worked in the door and hardware division of a company that supplied interior finishes for hotels. Kelley stepped away from that career in 2008 and had two boys. She started working for Woodcrafters in 2012 once the accounting and administrative work started growing into a full time position. Kelley has been enjoying being part of the great team we have and supporting Travis on building his company. When not at Woodcrafters, Kelley loves to ski, hike, and spend time with our two boys and dog Oso.

Interior Designer

Anna Lovell

Interior Designer

Anna's design career started at her childhood home in Sweden where she re-arranged the books in her parent’s library by color. It was so organized and beautiful in her mind, yet a bit confusing for her parents who could no longer find their books. Anna carries an international economics degree and received her interior design degree from Bellevue College in 1998. She has been working as an interior designer in both the commercial and residential arenas ever since, the last 12 years in residential design build. Anna is a great listener, and able to extract client needs, wants and vision for their space through her methodical process and communication style and expertly bring them to life.

Anna Howden

Principal Designer, B. Arch, M.U.D

Anna's interest in architecture developed at a young age. She decided she would become an architect by the time she was in 7th grade. As planned, Anna received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas and then a Master of Urban Design degree from the University of Toronto in 2002.

Before joining Woodcrafters Construction, Anna lived on San Juan Island where she owned and operated a residential design and construction management firm for over 10 years.  Her company was awarded an AIA "Seattle Center on the Environment” award for its innovative use of green building techniques including geothermal radiant heating and advanced framing. With a wide range of design experience from historic preservation, small tenant improvements, custom residential and mixed-use multi-family projects, Anna is a wonderfully capable and foundational part of the Woodcrafters team.
