Anna's interest in architecture developed at a young age. She decided she would become an architect by the time she was in 7th grade. As planned, Anna received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas and then a Master of Urban Design degree from the University of Toronto in 2002.
Before joining Woodcrafters Construction, Anna lived on San Juan Island where she owned and operated a residential design and construction management firm for over 10 years. Her company was awarded an AIA "Seattle Center on the Environment” award for its innovative use of green building techniques including geothermal radiant heating and advanced framing. With a wide range of design experience from historic preservation, small tenant improvements, custom residential and mixed-use multi-family projects, Anna is a wonderfully capable and foundational part of the Woodcrafters team. When not at work, she spends time outdoors with her husband, three daughters and giant Newfoundland.
